Forms of payment are: Cash, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 2 business days of close of auction.
A Buyers Premium of 7% will be added to the final sale price.
All sales are final. All property is sold as is, where is. Buyers will notify of receipt of payment via email. Removal of all items will be within 24 hours after payment in FULL is receipted.
Pick-up hours are M-F 9AM-5PM or by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for arranging for removal of item and any cost associated with the removal..

ONLINE SALES - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Description Warranty. State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet
Condition Of Property. Bidder acknowledges the listed equipment has not undergone a mechanics pre sale inspection and may or may not be operational. All property listed herein is offered for sale "as is" and "where is" and without recourse against the State. The State makes no guarantee, warranty or representation, expressed or implied, as to condition, quantity, kind, character, quality, weight, size, or description of any of sale property, or its fitness for any use or purpose. No claim will be considered for allowance or adjustment or for rescission of the sale based upon failure of the property to correspond with the standard expected.
Inspection. Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times indicated in the item description or contact the person listed to schedule an inspection.
Consideration of Bid. State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale any of the items listed.
Bid Deposits. State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet may require bid deposits on higher value items in order to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding. The deposit will be reversed if no default occurs or the bidder does not win the auction. Denali Auction Company will collect and retain the deposit if there is a default by the winning bidder.
Notice of Award. Successful bidders will receive a Notice of Award by email from aksurplus.com
Vehicle Titles. State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet will release a state issued title, or a certificate of origin, or documentation of ownership upon receipt of payment. Titles may be subject to any restrictions as indicated in the item description on the website. Open titles cannot be issued. State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet may issue a duplicate title at a buyers request with approved documentation of ownership for a fee of $50.00
Disputes. Any dispute arising out of this agreement shall be resolved under the laws of Alaska. Any appeal of an administrative order and any original action to enforce any provision of this agreement or to obtain any relief from or remedy in connection with this agreement may be brought only in District or Superior Court for the Third Judicial District of Alaska.
Conflict of Interest. It is the policy of the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities that State of Alaska employees directly involved with the decision to surplus or excess equipment are restricted from bidding on, or otherwise purchasing vehicles or equipment under SEF management control. This restriction applies to the State employee, and immediate family, as defined in AS 39.52 (Code of Ethics).
F. All department employees who are located at the station where the item is made available for sale. If the equipment has been transferred from an outlying location for the sale, the restriction includes the station of transfer.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions. By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees that they have read, fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions of Online Sales, and agree to pay for and remove the property, if the bid is accepted, by the dates and times specified.
